Our project managers have excellent working relationships with the LADOTD Aviation Division and the FAA, which expedites and enhances our clients’ project development and implementation. PEC has worked with the FAA on more than 100 airport projects, developing a thorough familiarity with its regulations, policies, and procedures. Due to our continuous work in aviation-related projects, our relationship with the FAA and knowledge of its guidelines remain current. Our key personnel are extremely familiar with FAA guidelines and design criteria, such as airport drainage, geometric standards, and pavement design.
We emphasize design economics in all stages of a project, from airport lighting to runway rehabilitation to new pavement construction. We offer extensive experience with the design procedures and approval methods necessary to complete a wide range of aviation projects. Our broad foundation in developing Airport Layout Plans (ALP) facilitates a final design and constructed facility that meet the operational requirements of the intended aircraft service. We offer expertise and a proven track record in cost-effective airport/pavement rehabilitation design.
